Using StepTrove
Terms
These terms govern your use of StepTrove. By using the app or service, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these terms.
Health and safety
StepTrove is a fitness and motivation product, not a medical device or medical advice. Activity, calorie, distance, and health estimates can be incomplete or inaccurate. Use your judgment, follow local laws, stay aware of your surroundings, and seek qualified medical advice when appropriate.
Who can use StepTrove
You must be at least 13 years old to use StepTrove. The app is rated 13+ on the App Store, which is how that minimum is applied.
Your account and content
You are responsible for your account and for information you submit. Do not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, automate abuse, or submit unlawful or harmful content. You retain ownership of your content and grant StepTrove the limited rights needed to store, process, and display it for the features you choose.
Other people who use StepTrove see your generated name, nickname, photo, and any club name you set. Mutually accepted friends and members of your Club see your exact step totals on the social surfaces described in Privacy; shared pace surfaces normally show one count rounded to the nearest 500 for both day and week. Counts below 500 and counts near legal activity ceilings are displayed as a dash without claiming that activity is absent. Current app screens do not show personal step ranges. The Privacy page lists exactly who sees what. If you come across something offensive, report it in the app and we will review it. We remove content and accounts that break these terms.
Digital items and purchases
In-app rewards, coins, XP, and collectible items are licensed features with no cash value and may be adjusted to keep the experience fair. Paid purchases and subscriptions, when offered, are processed under Apple’s App Store terms. Applicable refund requests are handled through Apple.
Availability and changes
The service may change, pause, or end as the product evolves. We work to keep StepTrove reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available and StepTrove is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
