We can help

Support

For help with StepTrove, email support@steptrove.com. Include your iPhone model, iOS version, app version, and the steps that led to the issue. Please do not send passwords or complete health records.

Activity data looks stale

Open Apple Health and confirm data exists for today, then check Settings → Apps → Health → Data Access & Devices → StepTrove. Return to StepTrove and allow a moment for delayed samples to sync.

Location or live walk trouble

Check Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → StepTrove. Location tracking runs only for a walk you start. Battery-saving settings and indoor GPS reception can affect route quality.

Watch is not updating

Keep the iPhone and Apple Watch nearby, confirm Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are available, and open StepTrove on both devices once. A completed workout can take a short time to appear through Apple Health.

Moving to a new phone

StepTrove does not need an email address, so by default your progress lives on the phone you started on. To carry it to another phone, open Profile and link an Apple or Google account first. Without a linked email there is no way for us to identify or restore your progress if the phone is lost, erased, or replaced.

Account or data request

For account access or sign-in help, email support. For export, correction, or deletion requests, email privacy@steptrove.com.
